Hi Guy's and Gal's,

I've just moved here (Seattle) from London on a permanent basis so just introducing myself. I owned an S50 ZMCoupé in London and loved her dearly. However, due to the weather here I've bought a 2004 X3 (although I do want another S54 ZMCoupé). Am I correct in thinking that the servicing will be conducted by BMW up to 4 years or 50,000 miles for free as part of their maintenance program? We certainly don't have that in the UK.

Can anyone recommend a good dealer and also a good indy in my area!

Thanks

Your assumption is correct that BMW will perform the maintenance up to 4 years or 50,000 miles from the original inservice date (the date the PO purchased the X3). Given your X3 is a 2004, this will probably be ending soon. If you purchased it from a dealer, they will tell you when the warranty is up. If you purchased it from an individual, call a dealer and they should be able to tell you how much time is left on the original warranty.

You might want to post in the regional forums (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=164) for a good dealer and/or indy in Seattle since there is not a lot of traffic through this subforum.
