I have a set of 18x8 wheels and was looking for 245/35/18, but having trouble finding them without paying an arm and a leg. I found a guy on CL that has a set of 235/40/18 goodyears. I am wondering if this will work on my lowered E36 M3? it is lowered on H&R's

I think they are RACE, its sits pretty low. And the offset is 38.

Well, upon looking at the wheels again, they are 18x8.5 ET38, and I am still wondering if I am going to have issues with the 235/40/18?

I had no issues running same sized general uhp's on same size and offset wheels on a 97 m3 but i was stock height

Im going for it. Picking them up tomorrow, will get them mounted balanced and try them on. Just did a test fit with just the rims and they look fine. But we will see once they are all mounted up.

What was the result?

(Putting 235-40-18's on 18x8.5/40mm wheels tomorrow...hoping I don't end up at the body shop asking to have fenders rolled....)
