just as the title says . . .can anyone recommend one to me? I have seen a few around and I now need to make a decision.

I am currently experiencing the famed timing chain tensioner and/or Vanos rattle :(

Depending on where you are, you might to give us a call. We're in Bellevue and have been a BMW only shop since 1982. 425-747-6044.

We're also a Bosch certified shop and we're one of the largest independent Dinan facilities in the country.

We do a lot of work on E36 cars so we could definitely get you taken care of.

thanks, I actually work in Redmond, so the eastside is not a problem. I will be contacting you. And just so you know, I am having the Upper Timing chain/Vanos area noise coming from the front of the engine.

Great. I'm not a Service Advisor so you won't be talking to me. Ask for either Derek Simonsen or Andrew Newell, both will take good care of you.

I'll let them know that you'll be calling. :)

FYI - There are directions to our shop at our website: Strictlybmw.com (http://www.strictlybmw.com)
