92 acura integra gs-r with 232k miles vs. 07-08 (??? the new ones) civic SI, 2 door

my mods: cold air intake, radio/subwoofer/amplifier delete mode (thanks to car break in), some rust, mismatched rims, 1 passenger.

60-90mph - i won by half a car.. yay!

then civic did a fly by, probably crying cuz of R POWAAAAAAAAAAA!


discalimer: no BMWs were hurt in the story. Cindy was on the driveway, sleeping.

sure everyone bashes the honda crowd, and the new si is by no means considered fast but its quick...mid to high 14's in the quarter i believe

232k holy mother, is the motor original or rebuilt?

i wouldn't doubt it, if it were original.

My old prelude motor was great. Even after it was skwunched in a 3 car pile up, it fired up no problem. Only sold it, due ot the fact would've cost more to fix the body work than I paid for the car.

all original and not rebuilt
opened it up to change some seals, looked clean with no grime

taken to 8k rpm couple of times a day every day
26-30mpg average, and keep in mind that at 80mph, i'm at 4.5k rpms and vtec kicks in at 5.5k, and tranny maxes out at 130mph

i love it more than 5-er, it's too much fun to drive!

integra type R is def. faster than old gs-r
BUT, 92-93 gs-r is one of the, if not the rarest acura/honda ever built, with 1.7 liter motor.
AND, it was 1 of 2 cars that offered vtec to public (92 gs-r and 92 nsx)

in conclusion - sweet ass car :buttrock
