I MAYBE looking at a corp. re-lo to the Spring Hill/Nashville area, hows the BMW life there? I am from the Atlanta area so its busy with car stuff all the time.

vandy alum here.. there are a few people who i see posting over at e90post but i would not say that it will be anything like atl

I think the TN section is a little different the ATL secton. Seems like ATL does more track days and shows/meets. Our section does more drives than meets and things. Both are good through! :)

Tim, there are ~15 people in the Nashville area who are consistent track drivers. Moving up here means you can get to Mid-OH in about 8 hours, TMS in ~13, Barber and RA are still not too far away. We also have the "fabulous" Nashville Superspeedway, which is quite possibly the worst roval in the US.
However, there are signs of the action picking up.
Let us know if you decide to move here. I used to work at Treehouse and the old yeller car :)

You'll be happy that you have a trailer to get your cars to the track. It's a long drive to Road Atlanta on R-comps. The SCCA does a pretty good schedule of autocross here if you want to dodge some cones.
