My 850 has a rubbing noise (sounds like hard rubber rubbing), when turning, but only after the car has been driven for awhile. When the car hasn't been driven for awhile, it sounds fine.

Are there any bushing, etc that are prone to wear and cause this issue? Other ideas?

Sounds silly, but what about the Pentosin reservoir?

It had the sport / comfort selectable shocks in it, but the previous owner put some ACS lowering springs and Bilsteins in instead.

I've checked that. Good color in the Pentosin and is topped off, so unless I've got some sort of circulation issue, it seems ok.

It's just a little annoying to be driving around in a realy cool car, only to have it be all creaky sounding turning into a parking spot... :(

My other guess since you describe rubbing noise whilst turning...

Front end bushings: Upper Control Arms + Lower Control Arms + Sway Bar Links.

Those items wood cause a noticeable vibration at certain speeds, Accellerating 35, 55 mph, Something could be loose up front, Jack the car up 1 inch off the ground in the front and take a crow bar and put it under the side of one of the tires then move it upwards to see how much wear is on the wheel bearing or suspension part, Something will show after trying both wheels, Next! Have someone turn the wheel back and fourth fully while you inspect the movement and noises up front. Do check front end for loose nuts throughout, Including the shock nuts.

-----Is there a large washer on top of your shock towers, Dead center where the nut tightens up the shock under the hood?-----

could also be the heat insulation above the driveshaft has fallen down and is rubbing on the shaft.......

I hope this isn't a stupid question, but what about tire size, maybe?

Just to follow up on this, I finally had my local mechanic take a look at it. Turns out they replaced the idler arm and the center link/drag link, and it cleared right up.
