So I know of all of the taillight problems with the X5, so has anyone here used any of the aftermarket 'Euro' lights? The vehicle is a 01 X5/5 and its already been throught one set with the same results as the orgional set.

Mine was the harness, not the lights/housing. Dealer took care of it under CPO. No problems since.

Every one I've ever seen has the burned hole in the circuit board where the bulb socket contacts for the brake/tail bulb. I just fix them with a soldering iron and some solder.
