Great car! Did you get a good deal? The car seems to be in excellent shape. Nice find! Congrats

I think that considering the condition of the car I did . 2k . All service records from 82 on including the factory paint inspection forms every three months for the first five years. Factory radio Original bill of sale and window sticker! I even got the little leather pouches that the key sets zip into.:)

Very beautiful car! I'm surprised that its an iS but never had A/C or fog lights. And I've never seen a non-locking glove box.

Ya I know. I just love it. I thought it did lock but baybe not. ill have to check. Tonight We "WE" are doing a clutch job on her after a ........ehum.....incedent involving my girlfriend a muddy driveway reversing uphill and lsd diff. you do the math.:shifty
Ill post the pics
And as for no AC I much rather have the sunroof anyway,and a normal looking stereo setup:)

none a/c and non locking glove box... dude, thats like the exact replacant of my int. but with out leather recaro's... and in much much better condition. i don't think mine had fog lights either come to think of it.

2k is a great deal man, great looking car!!! is that 248k on the odo i see??

and yeah, girlfriends and cars don't mix very well unless its a really really cool gf. not many exist that are that cool.

Ya no kidding. yes 248 on the odo. the records have one clutch in 91 and a valve job in 99 but other than that it is without a rebuild and when changed the oil you could mistake it for maple syrup. this motor has really impressed me. I have owned a probe gt twin turbo,mazda 626 turbo,integra gsr,and a westfalia that I put a 996 motor in and I love this the most. go figure:)

wow, nice list of cars!!!

my is is at 251k right now... but, not the original motor. if it had the original motor it would have a dealer installed turbo :eycrazy. but the first owner blew it or something within the first 3 years and 70k or so. it has a very stripped down 1.8 in it right now. no ac, and a lot of other stuff i've seen on my 83 that it doesn't have :confused

yours is a LOT cleaner than mine is for sure, it looks really great for so many miles!! great car, great price just.... great!

And I've never seen a non-locking glove box.

Here's another. This is a very old pic. Excuse the steering wheel and dirty interior.

Whats this baby's name... you speak of the car as if it was a virgin girl you are about to bang and it has paper work to prove its never been molested that or she took excelent care of herself.

Cheers ::beer

So you don't need a cute small dog or baby in your arms to have everyone come talk to you. I guess for us guys we just need a E21 that looks better than it should for it's age. lol
