hello all. posted this same question in the tire section but thought it might work here as well hope thats ok. got a question here on tire sensors. i have 2001 740il and was replacing the orignals with some replica wheel . my car has the low tire sensor on it but was told by a dealership it is not in the tire but elsewhere near the wheel?? seems i always have better info here on bimmer forums than dealers. i did a breakdown of the spare tire and found no sensor in side the stem or rim ( however this was the spare same style though) it apears the stems on the other wheels don't appear to have the threaded nut on the stems like the stem comes apart for replacement of the new stem does anyone have any info of this situation?? thanks for any help
