My wife got in our 2003 530i today and noticed the turn signals were not working. After some investigation I found that the hazzard button in the center console is blinking. Also the headlights stay on even after the car is shut off. Anyone know what is going on?

How long do the headlights stay on? If you press the hazard light button, does it go off?

If I press the hazzard button the button alternates between a constant bright light and very fast blinking. With the later the hazzard lights flash, with the former the headlights and talil lights and reverse lights stay on.

You might have a bad Light Control Module (LCM). It is located on the passengers side kick panel.

I had my LCM take a shit around 150K miles, one of my high beam lights stayed on all the time.
