Before anyone cries i have searched alot, its given me more questions then answers. Its time for new tires and I am undecided as to what sizing to get. As far as brand is concerned its gonna be either the Michelin PS2's or the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetrical's.
My car has stock standard suspension, rides LTW wheels which are 7.5 in the front and 8.5 in the back. So if you were in my shoes what size would you put on?

I have 235/40 x 17 front and 245/40 rear on LTW rims using Toyo T1R tyres.

eheh
understeer is not a product of tyre size its mainly in the geometry setup.
I run the staggered rim and the correct "factory" tyre size is front 225/45/17 and rear 245/40/17. I currently run R compound tyres and fronts are same as factory and the rears are 255/40/17. i have rolled rear guards and i dont have any rubbing except for extreme cornering where they just come into contact on the inside chassis. R compound tyres are wider than std tyres (of the same size) so regular 255/40 size tyres should be fine with a rear guard roll

I too have ltw's (stamped) and m-contours, both staggard. I run 225/245 on m-contours for street and 235 on the ltw's for track.

Ok so after 150 views we have 5 votes which unanimously make 245 the winner. Just one question though, I know it will fit fine on the back, but is a 245 alright on the 7.5J front LTW? Anyone have firsthand experience in a setup like this?
Thanks
