Honestly, I drove my car hard and I never had a single problem. In the winter, the traction control worked great.

I ran it for one winter and two summers. I did two royal purlpe fluid changes in the time that I had it. It never leaked.

I learned that if you take car of what you have, it will take care of you.

I NEVER, EVER, did a burn out.

I had no problems with it so I am guessing that you should not either as long as you take care of it.

Don't know if this means anything to you but, if I had plans to buy another E36 I would put it in my car without thinking twice.
