So there i am on my way home from cruising around hangin out with some friends of mine and getting dinner. Coming up on some slow traffic in the right lane, i scoot over to the left and roll into it knowing in about 1/2 a mile i've got to turn left or get back over. when i see a set of headlights hop up about 5 cars behind me and come RACING up on my 6.

I go about my buisness and run up to the front of the slow pack and scoot over in front of them and he comes along behind me. and he had a camry behind him who was bookin too.

We come to a redlight with a right turn lane beside us, crawling up to it never came to a complete stop, I start to roll and see his headlights pop up in my pass side mirror. WTF im thinking is he for real? i mash it by the time hes up to my rear quarter. Pull about 1/4 car in first, bang second and spin em for about 20 ft.. then pull another 1/2 car. and casually ran through third because he was STILL trying to pass me up until he was pushed behind me VIA guard rail.

I knew he wasnt pleased when we turned left into a development with 2 lanes each way running through it and he rockets around me almost clips the rear of another guy and tears off at about 50 through the cop infested 25. it was the new body style like 07 TL , whatever their sport package is , i beleive its the Type S right? .. not as fast as the TSX S i ran but still quick.

Nice story, good kill.

Sounds like you guys didn't have a fair start, him trying to get the jump on you from the light.

I thought the type S were in the high 13s stock. Aren't the 540i 6 speeds in the mid 13s or better?

Unless you specifically saw, a 'Type-S' badge, the car you likely ran was a regular TL. Not a slouch by any means, as those still have 270 HP. 'Type-S' TLs claim 286 at the crank, and indeed, they have dynoed as high as 260 WHP. Curb Weight is about 3500 lbs. I drive an average of 80+ miles a day 4-5 times a week, and I have seen only 1 TL Type S on the road. Tons of regular TLs though.
Since this was from a stop, there is a chance that that dude's traction control kicked in, or he was spinning. You had the advantage.
There is no production 'TSX S' or 'TSX Type S' in the US, so I don't know what you mean. Unless the TSX was riced out with an undeserved badge, or you meant 'RSX S'.

TSXs are TURDS. They are low 15-second cars at best, and mid 15-second cars on average, compared to the flat 14-second car the TL-S is. So please clarify the "not as fast as the TSX S i ran" statement. Even if it was an RSX-S, those are only high 14-second cars stock, at best. You must have ran a pretty modded one.
Good kill.

Now IM confused haha. I guess what a ran before was a TL too not a TSX. i was never behind that one and assumed. and our start was like a 2mph roll.
I guess assumtion does make an ass out of u and me.

I didnt think a stock TL had that much oomph stock. If that was a normal TL i ran from a dig twice.. i pulled about 3/4 of a car on him up to 60 spinnin through first and second. and it was only about 1/2 a car with traction control on.

So i guess i was mistaken and they were both TL's. or maybe it was the same guy haha. I did not see an S badge, just assumed.
