A few days ago a lifted Jeep smashed into my baby while sitting at a stoplight. My insurance company is telling me they are going to total it. It has been rearended but drives perfect. Arctic Silver, black leather interior.

I'm trying to recoup as much as I can because I'm about to take a bath on this thing. It's perfect for a track car or a rebuild if you have the money, time and knowhow (3 things I unfortunately don't have).

Background:
This is only a 2 owner car. The previous owner was a family friend and drove this as a second car. I drove the car as a daily driver for the past 3 years. This car has been garaged it's whole life and has been babied. Never tracked, autoXed, raced, or anything.

Engine/Trans/Misc parts:
The car has 102k miles on it. It's OBD1 and ready to be tuned. The only modification that has been done to it is an exhaust system. I had inspection II performed at 95k. I just had the brakes and rotors replaced less than 500 miles ago. I've never had a problem with this car.

Body:
See the pictures. The first 3/4 of the car are flawless. The trunk is smash, the bumper is scraped and cracked, and both rear quarterpanels are bent...

jellispa@yahoo.com with offers. I know what it's worth, but if you make it easy for me to sell I will give you a deal. Located in ATL, GA and you can drive it away.

agreed, need to throw some sort of $ out there
i got a friend in FL looking for an e36m3 with some know-how, i'd offer $3800 considering the cost of fixing, and the subsequent difficulty of reselling

not looking to trade. as far as price goes, it is yet to be determined. I'm just going to try and recoup the undervalue of the total, which hasn't been negotiated yet. My insurance is going to let me buy it back, which i fully intend to do as the car is in great shape. Depending on how much they'll let me buy it back for and how much they'll total me out at will decide what the price it. This should happen mid-week, next week.
My mechanic has offered $3k, but all he wants is the engine and tranny to drop in his track car. I would prefer to find someone who wants the whole thing. Everything on it is good to go but the body damage in the rear so I know someone here can put it to good use. I would turn it into a track car if I had access to a garage, but I don't so I'm going for the next best option.
