but first, thought I'd ask - where do dealerships such as Nalley order from? if it's anywhere remotely local I'd probably be willing to drive and get it myself, instead of waiting until Wednesday (2-3 working days....)

Pretty sure BMW has two warehouses, one on each coast. The eastern one, as I recall, is in New Jersey.

It did. There are also warehouses in Stockton, CA and Senatobia, MS.

Matt, how long does it take to get parts from Germany if the warehouses don't have them?? And is that very common, or not usually an issue?

A week to a month. It's very rare to need a part that isn't stocked in the US. Even parts that never came on US spec cars...
