View Full Version : Feeler: for sale
jrpsaros 02-14-2008, 07:05 PM I have a 1995 m3 with lots of upgrades. I am a college student and the maintenance and gas mileage of this car is starting to take its tole, so I'm considering selling it. What do you guys think its worth? Pictures and list of parts at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2901166. The dinan supercharger is the powerdyne, not the vortec. Thanks for the help.
first time 02-14-2008, 07:16 PM Impressive list of mods! I'm the polar opposite of an expert but w/ all those mods, why only 250 hp at 6000 rmp? SHouldn't the numbers be higher? Overall, that is a very nice car.
jrpsaros 02-14-2008, 07:20 PM It's hard to read that dyno, its 273 horspower, and 244 torque at the rear wheels.

Thats more in the right ballpark. How many miles does it have? Miles on the S/C?
fcvapor05 02-14-2008, 09:19 PM Id say anywhere from 13-19 depending on local market, condition, mileage, maintenance, etc.
jrpsaros 02-14-2008, 11:44 PM It has just under 64,000 miles, the supercharger was replaced about 15,000 miles ago, and rebuilt about 2,000 ago. The exterior is about a 9/10 and interior ab 8/10 the vader seats have the famous cracking in the bolsters. only interior problem.

Is the powerdyne worse than the vortech?
jrpsaros 02-15-2008, 01:02 AM I want to I'm just worried about maintenance issues. Is there anything i can do on a fairly low budget to help out? As far as the powerdyne vs vortech supercharges, most people feel the vortech are better. The powerdynes have in internal belt instead of gears that is prone to breaking. It also is hard to upgrade the powerdyne. any help with what to do with preventative maintenance would be great. I allready replaced the thermostat housing as well as water pump.

Nice car...BTW, this will probably be moved to the "Cars for sale" forum.
ptldM3 02-15-2008, 05:02 AM 14-16k sounds reasonable. Tasteful mods btw.
clumpymold 02-15-2008, 06:51 AM Wow, only up to $16k for that car? Damn, have the price of our cars dropped THAT much? This sounds like a VERY nice deal for someone.
You think location plays a big part in the price? I actually had my car shipped from NC and the difference in price was pretty considerable (in CA). :dunno
giterdone 02-15-2008, 09:53 AM This will give you a list of things to check on. Stay on top of this list, and you should be good to go.
EDGE Motorworks 75k checklist (http://edgemotorworks.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=section&id=2&Itemid=48)
EricP 02-15-2008, 12:33 PM If I were purchasing the car I'd take $1K out of my offer because I would know I would have to replace the wheels. :) You can probably get 14K easily, depends on if people like some of the things that aren't stock.
