Of like 400k. Is this wise? I mean, I make the income for it.. I just don't to keep track of all the things I need to pay, especially since I'm dealing with my father's cancer.

I don't know, I'm asking a board of Texans.. I don't think I'd be in the correct place; as for asking such a question. What's your opinion?

assuming you could get said loan what would repayment be?That I'd have to find out, I have an appointment with BankofAmerica Monday of next week.

Though, before I go through with it, I'd like to know if there's a better way? A better financial institution? Something more of an alternative, I've head negative things. Especially how they might have the right to sell your loan note to a third party? Which could result into a higher interest?

So your saying you dont have health insurance? Because if you didnt, you prob would have cut off your internet and electricity by now because of the rediculous medical bills you or your family are now paying.. I went to the ER 4 days before my insurance kicked in and I seriously regret it.. And my issue was minor compared to yours.

2 million foreclosures last year due to pre-approved loans, multiple unpaid mortgages, aka debt consolidation loans. People that shouldnt be getting loans or have no chance of paying them off were/are getting them. Banks/cooperations basically found a loophole that allowed them to do this, because the money is being thrown out of banks asses and not returned it has no value, value of the dollar dies. It was an economic time bomb that triggered many others.

You do realize that most of the people who live in DFW don't "make the income" to pay for a 400k mortgage (30 years) much less a 400k consolidated loan. I'm going to bet on you NOT making that kinda scrilla.

I don't know, I'm asking a board of Texans.. I don't think I'd be in the correct place; as for asking such a question. What's your opinion?

I'm not sure why you're asking anyone other than a banker - other than pretending to be a baller for mentioning $400k, but at the same time being the complete and total opposite since it means you OWE $400k and have nothing to show for it.

Fact is, you can't afford it, it's probably a dumb idea, and if you're $400k in debt, go find yourself a bankruptcy lawyer, not a BFC thread...

1800 a month? wow to live comfy with a family household you need to make at least 4 or 5x of that. and if you make over 100k a year, you really shouldnt be in debt
