I have realized that for these cars, you have to make it a really good deal to sell it fast.. so how does $8000 for $9100 car with a ton of mods sound? I paid $10k for it and put another $10k into maintenance/repairs/upgrades. Its faster and more reliable now than it was when I bought it - but I am also much more broke than I was when I bought it. I have something else I want to do with my cash right now, and having three cars with two car payments isn't exactly allowing for me to save up cash. You could part out this car and sell the car and upgrades seperately and easily make a good profit.

Drive this car and you will fall in love with it. Just needs some cosmetic fixes and you are set.

Also willing to trade plus cash/sell:
-Schrick cams for your stock M3 cams plus cash, make me an offer $ and we can drop off the cars one day to have them swapped. No reasonable offer will be refused
-GC coilovers - make me an offer.
Both are on the car, I have stock suspenstion to put in its place but I sold the stock cams.

1997 Cosmos Black M3
17" OEM Contours

Just around shy of 180k miles last I checked, but new head gasket and reconditioned head = reliable

RECENT (Less than 2k miles):
-OEM Head Gasket (Just about 1200 miles on it)
-All 4 new OEM O2 sensors ($400)
-Recondition Head
-Schrick Cams
-Stett Headers (double ceramic coated)
-BFG KDW 17" tires (235 front 255 rear)
-Radiator Hose (yes I am going to claim it)
-Alignment
-Spoiler (and paint)
-Iridium plugs
-New Starter

Mods:
-GC Coilovers
-UUC Swaybarians
-X-Brace
-UUC SSK
-LTW flywheel and clutch have less than 5000k miles
-Stett Pulleys
-M50 Intake Manifold
-Random Technology cats
-Dinan Stage III software
-UUC TSE
-CF CAI
-CF Hood (painted)
-HID's and Clears
-Alpine Head Unit, Amp, and Infinity speakers
-Shocks and springs were changed with OEM by PO
-UUC transmission mounts
-Plus everything up on

The Bad:
-Coolant Sensor is out, OBC tells me so
-Drivers side window doesn't go up on auto (have to hold it)
-Software doesn't match cams and headers, so it has slight hesitation on lower RPM's but otherwise runs fine.
-Brakes squeek but have life left, PO said it was doing it since they were put on.
-Front leather seats are pretty worn/ripped.
-May need PS hoses (cheap anyways)

car's got tint too...

$8k is a GREAT deal for this car. This car is f-in fast and fun to drive. If someone can find some gray vaders this car would be perfect!

It's faster then when you had it even with the cams and headers... sounds like a beast too.. Hey Mark just think you could keep a 2k profit and gain the upgrades and maintenance since you sold it.. not many more miles on it since then either.. POSSIBILITIES!

Also, any of the parts on this car I would sell/swap for stock parts plus cash. Its easier to sell a stockish car than it is a modded car.

I did put it up for sale a few months back :-).. but then I washed it and decided I would keep it.. but an empty pocket changed my mind again.. this time its getting sold for good, hence the low price.

I didn't know Stett made headers for e36.

I think he designed them and had someone in Germany make them if I remember correctly. I think thats what he told me, he branded it as his own when he sold me on it and they are a really top notch product.

Not yet, I wish I took one before he installed it but I didnt have the time then. Kinda hard to see now while its installed but I will try and snap a picture ASAP

Thanks man, it was bound to happen though. I am a mazda driver at heart, and I think I am growing out of dumping money into cars to make them fast. GL with your sale too.. maybe we will have to do this again one day, haha

Car is potentially sold (on 2/19/2008), no parting out will happen unless theres some sort of issue with selling it.

To those that I was working deals with on most of these parts - Sorry, I always hate to back out on a deal - its not my style. I could prob stand to make more money by parting out out and selling stock, but keeping this car in one piece is somewhat important to me. Also, even if that wasn't an issue its just less of a hassle to sell parts and try to find replacements and be paying for a car that is going to be down for a while, only to turn around and sell it.
