Do you drive your 335 on campus? I think I may have seen it around, I used to have the LSB M3. Every once in a while my brother's Estoril Blue X5 is on campus.

Yes, the Montego blue coupe.

From what I've seen there are two monty coupes on campus... one's mine and ironically the other belongs to my roommate (but its a 328i).

That's not ironic, that's coincidental. You young 'uns and your ironic use of the word "ironic"... :stickoutt

You park in the CRC deck right? My buddy parks his '04 330ci there (with the OEM 18's)

Yes, but in light of recent events I will probably be moving

That sucks, i'm parked in the CRC deck all the time. Were you parked near a trashcan or the basement level by any chance when you found out?

I found out when I was driving and my car informed me that TPM (tire pressure monitoring) was malfunctioning.

But I usually park against the lowest level wall, a few down from a trash can. I informed parking of the situation and they promised to "exterminate ASAP". I also suggested they remove the trashcans against the back wall but they were silent in response to that.

There's your problem, park further away from the dumpster.

Yeah that extermination should help, if it ever takes place. I'm hoping my car is too high off the ground for those rates to be able to do any damage. (knocking on wood)

My expectations aren't very high as to parking's response. Last spring the lacrosse team ran their bleachers into my friend's car leaving a nice dent. We asked parking to stop the lacrosse team from rolling their bleachers around the parking garage... it never happened, and furthermore, the bleachers have returned this spring.

Anyway, I've been parking in that area for almost 4 years now and this is the first time it has happened. I'm assuming its just bad luck.

You guys still have crackheads throwing sparkplugs through windows every weekend?

My silver Integra got broken into 4 times while I had it at Tech - it was retarded. It got to the point to where they'd just break in and see nothing and leave the car open...

No problems after I got my first M3 though.

Are you the one with the foreign plates under your US plates?

Not so much. The only cars I know of that have been broken into recently are the ones that have a lot of steal-able stuff on display.

Are you the one with the foreign plates under your US plates?

If that is directed towards me, no.
