I'm located in Cambridge MA, and am looking for an e30, preferably a 325ix, in any condition. I have cash, will travel but am open to other e30's auto or stick doesnt matter, 2 or 4 door, no preference. I'd love a 325ix but I'm not too picky.

I got 23 mpg on my last trip (from NYC to Maine and back, over 1000 miles strong). Great SUV for anyone looking for something for this winter. Passed inspection, rust on lower quarter panels, no real issues, not the greatest looker, but runs strong and no mechanical issues at all. Four wheel drive is amazing. Blue book value is 2600

i have an 88 iX in VA (22903). it has special ix dinan suspension (springs/bilsteins), dinan chip, heavy duty rear shock mounts, lots of new AC parts, new exhaust, new yoko's. looks good, painted in 2000.

one big prob though, this is reason it's still not my dd:
rust was discovered by inspection shop around rear springs.

it seems very localized and i may try to fix to drive again and sell the e28 i since replaced it with, but need estimate on the rust.

other cons/needs:
driver side CV boot/control arm and tie rod end.
ac compressor could be better (is cool not COLD, all other ac is basically new)
gas tank leak when at its fullest, have not investigated yet

out of town this weekend but can get pics better and have better descrip on home computer next week

you could drive it home but that ca ball joint shimmies pretty good at high speed turns, plus needs inspection

$1500 if I don't decide to keep
