91 Mr2 turbo 500hp & pro built $15,000 OBO
considering trades for Z06 vettes and 93'+ SupraTTs

I'm posting this 91 Mr2 turbo up for sale for my very good friend that lives in Debuque Iowa.

update pictures : http://s121.photobucket.com/albums/o205/pwrslide2/Neilson%20MR2/

This car makes serious power and is capable of 11 second 1/4 mile passes on street tires. 10s are very hard for MR2s to get but with some more work, this car could get there.

Everything on this car has been professionally done. Motor, Turbo, suspension, tuning, paint.. . My friend has never NOT gone the extra mile to get everything done right. $9,400 was just spent getting the car fully rebuilt, upgraded turbo to GT3082, clutch and head work done. The proof is in the receipts. I have a pdf doc of the work done and you can call ATS racing yourself for proof.. .

sorry about the pics, they don't do the car justice.

This is the 20PSI PUMP gas dyno run to tune for reliability. Turn back to 18PSI for around 370whp or 16PSI for 330whp

This is 23PSI race gas. The turbo and motor can handle 500whp but 435whp is about 500HP to the crank. The car would have put more HP out at 23PSI race gas but the intake manifold is restricting the setup

The car was bought from a lady the summer of 2000. I’m the second owner and the car has been salt free forever. The chassis has ~120k miles with a fresh ATS 2.0 forged motor. All the hoses and seals are new.

Power: Car weight is 2950 with driver and 1/4 tank of gas
260rwhp @ 10psi (wastegate) this will click off 13second passes with ease
330rwhp @ 16psi (conservative pump gas tune) CAR expletiveING FLYS AT THIS WHP
400rwhp @ 21psi (110 race)
435rwhp @ 23-24psi (110 race)
List of Mods:
ATS GT3082 turbokit
ATS 2.0 Forged Short block
ATS TB inlet
AEM EMS w/ Wideband UEGO
TFFR w/ 850cc injectors (still gets 20mpg)
Walbrol 255 FP
TVIS Eliminated w/ phenalic spacer
Pressure tested head w/ 264 cams/ Fidanza cam gears
93+ LSD Tranny
Spec stage 4 clutch
AGX struts
Eibach Sportline springs
17x7, 17x9 Volk Racing 57 pros (2k$ value, flawless)
Spearco IC w/ Trubonetics clamps and spal fan
Apexi GT exhaust

This is a great buy for anyone that wants to fall into a high hp car. A W/A IC, and an Intake Manifold would put this build in the 500rwhp range.

$15,000 OBO is where my friend is starting at. Mainly a feeler price as of now. The car obviously has over $13,000 in work/parts done to it. Basically when you buy this car you are buying the modifications and just happen to get the car for free :buttrock. I think he is willing to negotiate.

Please call the number at the bottom of the 1st post or contact his email address.

Dubuque Iowa is probably a little further away than getting to the Davenport / quad cities area. So like 3 hours or so.. .

Here's a link to google to map the distance b/t you and him.. .

This car is really fun! 11 second tire scortcher! 275s can be tucked in the rear as it sits. 275 r comps would probably be a tough fit and require some more fender prep.

I'm thinking of picking up an unmolested 91 MR2 turbo in Black on Black for the hell of it.

ATS racing said this car could be parted out for at least $12,000 with the way the MR2 parts market is. $14K if you work hard. If a donor interior was swapped, I think the car would sell for $12,000 + with out a doubt.

He's not interested in Most BMWs. He's pretty set on a Supra or a Vette.

Please direct questions directly towards him. at

Looks like an awesome car man.

But no offense, unless hes throwing down a lot of cash on top, he wont find anyone wanting to trade their Supra or ZO6 for it.

Good luck with the sale though!
