My 325i wagon is now out of the warranty period and the dealer prices on maintenance are killing me. I'm looking for a reputable alternative to the dealer in the North Dallas/Plano area. Any help?

MCM97 02-11-2008, 01:37 PM how close are you to Euless? Weaksauce Automotive LLP does pretty good work. weaksauce 02-11-2008, 02:08 PM I don't normally recommend shops, but in the last week i was let down by Eurosport. I went in to talk to them about getting my EWS aligned on my E36 M3. The "master tech" told me that I was basiclly screwed and I would have to either get the EWS module and column key and cylinder from the car I got the DME from, or do an extinsive rewire on the car to eliminate/trick the DME-EWS system. I gave up and drove home. Then I realized Autoscope was right down the street. I dropped in to autoscope this morning and the re-aligned the DME and EWS module (which is what I asked Eurosport to do) in about 45 minutes. They raped me on the price ($175.00) but they did what Eurosport said was impossible to do. So now I add Eurosport to my list of local shops that I do not feel comfortable recommending. As for your maintenance items, hit me up if you need something looked at. |
