The rear tires on my E30 are wearing horribly, if I can get this fixes within the next week or so the rear left should still be fine, but the rear right will definitely be put on the spare wheel (has a bit of curb rash along the lip but hold a tire fine) and the fresh tire off the spare will be put on. then I'll probably rotate the old back left to the front left and put the front right on the new back right. If you can't tell reading this, I'm on a budget here, serious budget, in part thanks to the ticket I got yesterday, compliments of the Plano constable patrolling up and down parker between preston and the toll way for upwards of 5 hours while I was delivering over there yesterday night. I need to know if anyone near me can hook me up with a cheap rear wheel alignment done right on a rack. I live at George Bush Turnpike and the North Dallas Tollway basically. Thanks.

Probably not what you want to hear, but the rear suspension of an E30 has no adjustments and thus can't be aligned. Wear of the rear trailing arm and/or subframe bushings is the usual cause of mis-alignment of the rear wheels. Or damage to the rear trailing arms.

well....kinda what I want to hear. let's me know I'm going down the wrong path right now...but....crap.....I mean it's really uneven tread wear. These are pretty new tires, maybe 3-5k on them. The back right is just ugly leaning inward. Running through the inside tread hard. On the upside the car tracks like it's on rails, more so than usual even. Checked and the trailing arms don't appear to be the culprit, bushings are what I'd expect from under a 243k car, can replacing them really fix anything?

Have you replaced shocks / springs? If they are cambered in, the rear is probably riding too low. Or take the body out of the trunk:)

Rear trailing arm bushings and rear subframe bushings are the culprits usually. That and bent trailing arms, as mentioned (maybe the curb rash has something to do with it?).

i'd get ip up on jackstands and really take a look ait it. Def check to see if somethings bent

And keep in mind that sometimes it's tough to tell if something's bent just by looking, since the parts already have bends in them. It'll be easy if there's a kink or crack, but other than that it's tough to tell a bent control arm from a good one, sometimes even if they're side by side for comparison. On the other hand, it's easier to tell if the bushings are whacked.
