I'd like to know if there is a "secret" method to remove the two bolts that hold the fron calipers on. The bolts require a 18mm socket. I tried to loosen these bolts with my 580 ft lb air ratchet and they woulf not budge. Since I don'nt have a lift, I have to work off a jack and stand. This makes using a 3/4 breaker bar and extension impossible.

Not to be rude but make sure you are turning them the correct way. They are lefty loosey but facing the wrong way so double check. I use a 1/2" impact and never had a problem.

wow. i cant believe they are on that tight. your prob going to have to use a breaker bar. just hitting it wit a impact will break the bolt eventually

I did make sure a few times that I was turning them in the correct direction. I would have used a breaker bar, but since I was working on a jack, I had no room to get any swing on the bar. Thanks all for the info.
