Just saw this on YouTube. I searched but didn't see this car talked about anywhere.

Does anyone know more about this car? Its a great looking car and making a ton of power.

Long story short.

Nick "The Greek" owns that car. He had it at ICS back when ICS was making it's name originally on BFCFI. When there were no current 600whp e36 M3s known at the time, they made that with this car.

Anyway, they made up to 8XXwhp or something and then Nick took the car without returning or paying George the balance. Screwed George out of like $30,000 or something.

After all that this place called "The Shop" or something supposedly added a larger turbo and did this dyno run with Felix tuning. Felix is a good guy and a very good tuner. Not sure about the rest of them. Since the car already made over 800whp it wasn't fair to take all the credit since that was done at ICS.

when it made 730whp (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=342456)

when it made 811whp (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=395899)

It should be noted that "The Shop" is owned by George's brother.

It was later found that the car did not make anything near 1000whp they
did a run in a special program of the dyno(forgot what it was called).

I'll believe the 1000whp claims once I see 1000whp trap speeds.

Someone here who knows someone who knows Nick "The Greek" should make sure that person talks Nick in letting him bring his trusty Vbox for a 60-130 ride one night. We need to get that graph! We will never see him at the strip so that is the only way.

Thanks for the info. Cameron. I thought I recognized that guy (Felix) in the video. I've heard he is a very good tuner and thats why I wanted to try to find out more about this car.

What's the point of getting 800rwhp+ and not track it?

Well i say i would definitely give it a shot but all that power makes it even harder. I went once when i was making around 850rwhp with some drag radials and couldnt hook even in low boost, it was very dangerous fishtailing on it (granted the track sucks). Also at that power you break things, sometimes have engine issues etc.. However a car with that much power should definitely have more proof, race video's, vbox runs, track attempts, car meets, and any other type of video would be cool. If any of this is lacking its b/c the car doesn't really work(maybe broken) or it does not make its claimed numbers.

You nurse the car off the line .. the trap speed will not be affected. Proof is in the pudding.

I'll believe the 1000whp claims once I see 1000whp trap speeds.

They all claimed 1050rwhp, it made that power on a 1.3 correcion factor.

I have the whole inside scoop. :cool
