Ok 2 things to touch base on here..

First is when I sit in the car and turn the steering wheel back and forth I get a small amount of play its feeling like something in the rack is loose, and then at high speeds I get a slight vibration I don't know if it is tires or this play, what could be loose on the steering line to cause this ? could this be a tie rod, I checked everything out it just doesn't feel like a tie rod. I heard there is a rubber bushing on colum somewhere.

Second thing is when I make a left hand turn I get a clunk out of the rear of the car, like 2 metals are over lapping and one is slapping up, or a bad shock ? how conman is a bad shock I made sure everything is tight and it is only getting worse, it will also do it when pulling out in first gear hard ? It almost sounds like the trailing arm is loose, but its not, I have Poly bushings could this be a factor ?

Thanks Guys any help will be greatly appreciated.. Zach

Could be cracked subframe/chassis mounts in the rear. Have a shop check it out.

Yes, there will be a tiny bit of play in the steering. If it's excessive, have a shop check it out.

Do you get any noise from the rear of the car? I had similar issues once but with some humming and it was a rear wheel bearing.
