Hey ya'll did a search for black wax and didn't really come up with anything helpful so just wondering if ya'll could give me a hand.

I'm looking for a black wax and I have not been able to find one. I hear they are out there, but don't know where to go or what brand to use.

I was told that black wax would help hide some tiny rock chips I had that currently look white due to the white wax that was used before.

It's nothing more than black colored filler that will wash off anyway. Turtle Wax makes colored "waxes". Junk IMO.

Yeah I thought about that, but how would I get the white wax buildup out of the rock chips.

I still think black wax would do the trick. I mean if the white stuff leaves white residue in the chips then why wouldn't black? I just wish I could find a good brand of black wax and not some cheap turtle wax stuff.

But the best way to take of those rock chips to fix them with something like Langka.

Meguiars #21 dries clear.

Try using a claybar to get the wax out of those rock chips you speak of.

What does Langka do?

When you touch up, you end up with a blob of paint that sits taller than overall level of paint. Langka levels it out.
