Hey guys, i need to have the body color insert of the mtech 1 wing for my e30 painted. Pretty small part and needs to be bronzit. I have been trying to find someone that will do it for a reasonable price (and by next weekend).

Do you guys know anyone who would possibly be mobile or that i could come by after work or on a sat and have it sprayed?

Thanks!

Tony

I went to John Holt at Hot Wheels in Marietta. I feel I got a fair price for the work he did.

I can do small paintwork at my house when I have time. If you guys are interested I can do it much cheaper than a shop. It is a hobby of mine. Here is a pic of my most recent job, my e46 bumper.

We're all going to need a lot of paint work if the drought conditions last much longer! I'm noticing more and more wrong with my paint every day and not very much I can do about it other than a soft cloth and squirt bottle :(

Speaking of paint ... thanks to the water use limits something managed to eat through the clear coat and crinkle the paint on a small part of my hood. Anyone know of a good place to get matched touch up work done?

Also, Geordie, I know you guys recommended a detailing service...are they still in operation with the drought? If so, where were they located and how much did it run? My car is in serious need of some TLC that I cannot legally give it -- I know some people have talked about bringing their own supplies to a spray 'n wash place (and not using the pressure washer) but I am beyond that point :help

EDIT: Wow, it sounds like I want to molest my car. "TLC that I cannot legally give it"

Thanks. Even the rates on their website don't look too bad but if I call I'll certainly mention you.

Anyone else on here used Jim? Opinions?
