For those of you that may not have seen my earlier posts, my E90 325i was involved in a wreck in early January, and was finally deemed a total loss. So, for the last couple of weeks, I've been looking for an interesting replacement option before the wife could make me order an exact replacement... With the help of Mr. Harrison and his fine crew, I found something that fit the bill -

It's a 2003 M3 in Steel Gray with black leather and aluminum trim. It also has the Bilstein PSS9 suspension, which should be fun at the Autox and Road Atlanta events. :devillook This will definitely bump me into a higher autoX class, so I'll be getting beat by a different group of folks this year...

One more big shout out to Mr. Harrison for all the excellent advice throughout the insurance/repair shop phase as well as the hunt for the M3. Not only did he and his crew save me from a potentially problematic purchase earlier in the week, but the resulting delay caused me to be within the 60 day "no ad valorum" period for my tag! Now that's added value service! :alright

Now I just need to get used to driving a car with an extra 118hp...

Congrats! You'll enjoy the "visceralness" of the M3 over the e90, hands down. Coupled with the PSS9s and you've got a helluva car. Now just try not modding it...:laugh

Visceral is good way to describe it. My E90 was a Lexus by comparison. This thing's a beast!

Thanks all!

Well, now that you mention it, one of them is slightly chipped anyway. What's the recommended replacement?

It has been several years, and I can't remember where I bought mine - but I think it was here: http://www.bimmian.com/REF/46/1

You could also paint them yourself, if you dare.

Looks great! Now you just need an Auburn tag to make it complete.
