They are coming on tomorrow. I was going to to go Pappas for the prelude meet on sunday @ 6 but my great grandma is in the hospital so I must visit her with the rest of the family.

I am debating on putting them on because apparently i'm missing the "ballast" for the AE's. So it won't be a complete install. I could just put them on and wait to get the ballasts and install them again. Kind of frustrating.

So you bought them from Hap, the biggest blowhard on bimmerforums, the guy who justifies his rediculously high prices (compared to other vendors who sell the same stuff) by claiming to have the best customer satisfacion and customer service, and your order was inclomplete? That's funny... Just another reason for me not to do business with Bavtoys, I guess.

^I've read alot of stuff and its hard because some people will have normal transactions and won't say a thing and the people who don't have smooth transactions will spread their experience to the masses.

I'll give Bavtoys a chance to rectify this problem. If not, I'll never shop their again (unless something else goes wrong within the warrenty period).

With these, only two dealers (uminitza & bavtoys) have these "modified lights". Yes, these are pretty much the ebay ones but if you look at them, they look pretty decent for the price.

another problem I have: the drop shipment of Lamin-x for the headlights is wrong. I got the foglights (which don't help me since I don't have any) and not the headlight film. I think its either a mix-up or something because BavToy's doesn't stock these.

its inching towards going downhill for my experience so far. I know its the weekend so I wont' get pissy about him/bavtoys website for not responding to my pm's/emails. I'll wait till monday.

The thing is, you have a vendor who pays to advertise and support the forum...when people start to bash them, it hurts their business/reputation which is supposed to be helped by them supporting the forum.

I'm not saying it's right, but that's they way business works.

But the thing is, it's not all bashing. People try to explain their poor experiences with the supporting vendor and they get locked out... that's b.s. and unfair. Yes, I can understand they don't want someone continuously trashing a vendor, but potential customers have a right to hear the negative about someone they are about to spend money with. If you read some of those threads all you see are Hap's nutswingers - if someone does ask a question he doesn't like or calls him out on something like prices, he gets ultra defensive and rude.
