It's going to be 75 degrees in so cal this weekend. My head is exploding with the possibilities that are out there for this weather. Beach, hiking, desert, drive. Anyone have awesome plans?

Taking PCH/101 up to Rideau Vineyards in Solvang. It'll be a beautiful day for a topless drive.

Let's see if drivers decide to stay in the right-hand lane ;)

Thinking about going for a hike in the Malibu Canyon. One of the places I've been thinking about checking out for the few weeks I've been living here.

Finally! Sheesh. I can work on my car. No garage FTL. I like the cold weather but not when I wanna wrench.

Plans: machine shop class, pick up a subframe, rebuild front calipers (I finally get to try out my new Ranger 31.5 inch  high-lift jack), clean my dirty ass interior, make stuff with the Dremel :redspot, study physics and English paper.

What can I say, I'm a rock star. :shifty

I went out to Joshua Tree. We took the 74 all of the way out but in hindsight we should have taken the 10 to Banning, the 243 to Idylwild and then the 74 into Palm Desert. The weather was great, the flowers were blooming, it was just beautiful.

Without a B-Pillar, the E31 feels like a convertible with all windows and sunroof down. It was a treat today & yesterday!

Nice.. Spent most of Saturday hanging around with few of the South Bay guys at the dyno day at Race Precision, and then out in south bay meeting up for a small photoshoot that ended up in just hanging around chatting.

Sunday I made it out to the beach and attempted to surf for about an hour and half. Waves weren't all that great where I was, so it wasn't that productive of a session. Oh well. Still nice to be floating around out in the sun. :D

All in all, I LOVE that we are getting the sun and warm temps back. :stickoutt

Hey how cold was the water? Wetsuit?

I've been itching to go bodyboarding but I'm afraid my 3/2 wetsuit isn't gonna keep me from freezing.

Man, sure is nice right now too. :D

Yeah do it up. I wore my 3/2 fullsuit and booties. I have a decently low tolerance for cold (my fingers and toes like to freeze), but nothing felt even close to freezing in the hour and half I was out. I'll be honest, it was a little cold.. but nothing bad. And I think it was the fact that since there wasnt many waves for me to paddle for, I was sitting stationary for quite a bit. And Im sure you know when you arent moving much, it seems colder.

Water was real clear too. It was very nice actually (aside from the lack of decent swell). I enjoyed it.

I plan on going out sometime this week and again next weekend.

Hook line and sinker! My bait was just too tempting for you to resist. I expected an unpleasant response.

Lighten up it's the internet!

How was the 74? Are they still working on it? Did they have the overlook done yet?

Looks like a great day!

It wasn't all that great for that reason. If I were to do that drive again today I would take the 10 out to the 243, which comes in in Banning, and take that to the 74.
