Any recommendations on the best way of cleaning the inside of the windshield. I use windex, it has not been working that great. When the sun glares through the windshield, I see the streaks.

get the stuff in a yellow can that is a foam spray. It is what I used when detailing. Also look into using 2 different microfibers when doing it. One for the first removal and thena final one to buff a finer shine on the glass to say.

Personally I say use whatever your favorite glass cleaner is, because what I have found is that getting glass perfect isn't in what product you use, rather the method of application and removal. I personally use a clean microfiber just to get the mass of film/junk off, and then flip to a dry side of the towel to completely dry the glass.

Now the most important step in getting your glass perfect is to use a dry, clean microfiber glass towel or short-nap microfiber and dry buff the glass. This will get rid of that stubborn film that tends to stay, and your glass will come out absolutely perfect every single time with very little effort. In fact, doing the dry buff is the easiest part of the job.

On the outside, I don't even use a glass cleaner as I tend to just use the quick detailer I am using on the rest of the car, on the windows. I then do the same method, and do a final buff with a glass microfiber towel. I have two that I keep dry and clean, and my windows are always perfect, even in sunlight.

After cleaning it, get some Rain-X Antifog (non spray type) and wipe away. If applied right, your windshield will never fog up for a pretty long time. Also try out the original on the outside. You can't even tell when it's raining with that stuff on.

I find a microfiber mitt easier to handle, especially in the tight areas where it's hard to keep a grip on a towel. Just stick it down there and no worries about slipping and getting your paw prints on the glass.

I don't use any chemicals, simply take a wet/damp microfiber towel and clean every inch of the glass, then take a dry cotton towel and wipe it clean. Make sure the glass is not hot/warm from being in the sun or having the defroster running. It will be crystal clear!:)

Old newsprint is very effective in cleaning glass. Used in conjunction with the glass cleaner of your choice, you will get good results. Completely disposable and a green thing to do.

ive tried the newspaper and i personally HATE it. My newspaper always gets all frayed and lint goes everywhere, not to mention black fingers.

I like using a paper towel first with my windex, and then wipe it completely dry with a microfiber. works great for me. just dont use the paper towel for more than a few windows because it will start to get lint everywhere.

I never have a problem with newspaper and windex. Just ball it up and use as many sheets as needed. Then voila! you have streak free windshield!

I find the best way to clean windows is just using water!!!

Use one damp microfiber towel and do one section, then immediately take a dry microfiber towel and dry the area...i find that it makes glass crystal clear!

Hope that helps you :)
