View Full Version : Who is coming to SouthEast SharkFest?
e24mpwr 02-06-2008, 10:56 AM If you're on the fence, I'd highly recommend it. It is spouse and kid friendly, there is lots to see and do in the area and a beautiful time of year to be in North Carolina.
If you haven't registered and are planning to come, I'd say you should do that sooner than later too - helps the organizers out a lot.
I'm really looking forward to this year! So who's in?
javistor 02-06-2008, 11:07 AM I've been dying to go, I've actually registered and pay before and have not been able to make it due to several reasons, mainly the long drive from San Antonio and limited time (work reasons) I will shoot for next year, just have to plan it right... I wish you guys all the success and look forward to see some great pics!
jbd5015 02-06-2008, 03:27 PM Im in! Im going to be meeting up with the crew in Winchester on thursday morning, and it should be an enjoyable drive from there to Winston-Salem.

Lsixer 02-06-2008, 03:50 PM Im open for any meet. I just need to clear it with the wife. I dont think she'll want to come, not into cars all that much.
Good idea on the hotel situation, are their sanctioned hotels for bimmer people?
alpinacsi 02-06-2008, 03:50 PM I'm in!!!
Acorn 02-06-2008, 04:26 PM I'll try... Not sure yet though. I just hope I don't have to drive my dad's Scoobytruck over there instead of my sixer. I would just love to see the looks on people's faces when they see the V12 in there.
I'll see what I can do, no promises though. But if the car isn't finished, I promise many pictures.

You'll be welcomed no matter what you drive in - I'm sure you'll get some attention if the swap is complete! You won't find people turning their nose up at cars that aren't cosmetically perfect - very cool crowd.
Acorn 02-06-2008, 04:34 PM yeah yeah, I'd hope that, but I want the car done.. it's over a year in progress. Speaking of that... it's a nice day here, why am I, and you for that matter, inside? I'm going to go open the garage doors and work on that damn motor, cleaning it up.

haha, good work Lee!
It is definitely warmer than the norm up here, which is usually hovering around freezing as the high. Today almost hit 55 or something! Too bad its all rainy. Its actually a little too warm yet, ive adjusted to the cold already, so this is like sweltering heat to us haha.
