So it's rusted pretty bad on the body panels, but the towers show no signs of rust..
I got to thinking.. and wondered if this car is worth the trouble to make into a track car.

That means the 5speed must stay, the engine get overhauled/replaced, gut 'er out and do 15ft body work/paint job.
Just strip the piss outta it to bare bones and gear it up to hit a track.

This car has alot of things on it my 635 can use.. but once I take that 5speed out, she's a goner and best be cut up and hauled off.

I suspect the engine might be in dire need of rebuilding.. oil looks milky and may have a seeping HG.
Otherwise, it does start right up and run... just seem weak.

I smell offroading... those bumpers should protect you from pretty much anything, just make sure you have a friend with 4WD to pull you out. Once you've finished mauling the exterior, commence with scavenging car for parts, then scrap.

That's an example of how the 6's numbers are getting lower every day. In other words, you may grab all useful parts and let her go peacefully. I'm not criticizing you for doing so if that's what happens. At the least, the whole car was not crushed and all the good parts gone forever.

Would be perfect for a track car, if it can even be put on the track in that condition. You can have a blast learning the extremes of the 6's handling characteristic's and not worry about anything that may happen to it. After you have your fun strip her down and have the shell pulled off.

I've had a few shell's pulled off that didn't have a suspension. Set it down on wood pallets so your drive doesn't get scratched when it's getting pulled. It may take a few phone calls, but it can be done. Offer to pay them (say maybe $25) to come get it if you run into any problems.
