yup- it's not pretty out there. I can't see the street from my house due to the dense fog. It's only a few car lengths away too.

I DON'T miss the "wonderful" midwest winter weather.
Or the spring weather where it can sometimes snow in May.
Or the summer heat and humidity.
Or the fall "it's starting to get cold as SH!T" weather.

I left Chicago 22 years ago and never looked back.

funny thing is... i wouldn't want to be driving anything else cept' a bimmer in most weather. they seem to be able to comfortably handle most situations way better than other cars!

but maybe i say that because my heated steering wheel has completely spoiled me.

i agree with you about the 4 seasons part...don't get me wrong i really miss that part about living in northwest PA, and in Mass.

But, i just hate going out in the snow and dealing with all the bs that comes along with it worrying about your car getting caked with salt/sand

black pants/shoes turning white because of the salt on the sidewalks/parking lots, and the fact that if you're driving 10 miles the heater isn't blowing hot air until you pull up to your destination!!

that i don't miss... :)

Pfffft. A little shaking from time to time vs. ice, snow, rusted quarter panels, driving a winter beater, tornados, hail damage (yeah, I had one car banged up pretty bad by hail stones), mosquitos (they become the seasonal state bird in northern Illinois in the summer)...

Today's high is supposed to be around 65, and it'll be in the 70s by Thursday.

Florida humidity sucks... it rains HARD there like everyday for like an hour, then it stops, the sun comes out and it dries up like it never rained at all... weird...

I lived in Clearwater for a year or so. I miss it. I can handle the weather. :)

Global warming is going to come down and get FL.

the fog was insane...
