from a 96 M3, head has 75K miles on it, Shortblock is original rod/piston/crank, but rebuilt with brand new rings, rod and crank bearings.
Engine was pulled for euro swap. No cracks in head, checked out to be straight (but having it shaved/plane-ed is always recommended). Valvetrain is good, No vanos included. Ideal to rebuild for performance application with upgraded valvetrain, etc.

Also are you sure its a 3.2l S52? Looking at the head there are two temp sensors, which only the s50 had

Sorry about the dibs. Do you happen to have a vin number for cross reference? It should be on the back of the head and start ith WBZ

Early 96 S/M52s sometimes had 3 ports but usually one was blocked off with a bolt. Never seen seperate temp sensors on an OBD2 motor. :dunno

Well I just checked Realoem and according to their site in 1/96 they offered the s50 and s52 in the m3. Really weird. The fact that it does have two temp sensors indeed means that it is a s50 and not a s52.

Has this sold??? If not I'll take the head (no cams) and valve cover for sure. Please give me your paypal address. You can post it here and I will send the money for those two parts. (Total of $425)

here are pictures, my digital caliper is pictured at almost 86mm, which ID's it as a s50 block. S52 is supposedly 86.4 mm bore and m50 is 84.
