So in another thread I talked about what I thought was alt going dead etc etc. Did the whole charged battery,started car and removed neg cable thing. Car died. So now I'll fix it.Stealer wants 420 so I was wondering if anyone would buy a reman Autolite from Schucks/Kragen that has a lifetime warranty and 24mo roadside assistance. Of course I will need to change the pulley but no big deal. And secret helpfull tips or things to look out for would be appreciated. It is just an alt though.

If they are giving you lifetime warranty with 24 mo road side assistance, I think its pretty much a no brainer.

Yeah I guess that does sound like a stupid question huh. I think what I was looking for was an opinion on quality of parts. Although I can do this myself I really would rather be drivin my ride around the Hood instead of having my ass hangin out from under it.
