Hi Guys,
Clutch replacement time is coming up soon for my M3. I currently have a std. clutch & flywheel and it is starting to slip with 1st to 2nd sprinted changes. I'm not massively hard on my clutches as I have covered about 50,000 miles with this one.
However there are alot of traffic lights in the UK that more often than not require a swift getaway... ;)
So my question is, what clutch and while I'm there what flywheel change? (if any, but I don't mind losing some refinement for a performance gain)
Can I have your experiences please of the above even those guys with paddle clutches, and there longevity.
(i use to have a sprung paddle clutch in my old front wheel drive and didn't find the negatives a problem at all. Some say they are like a on-off switch, but in that it was more than progressive enough for traffic driving. However I do appreciate it may be somewhat more severe in this layout)
Over to you guys.....
