It's been raining like crazy here in LA. But it finally stopped and I decided that I would drive with the top down. The top was working fine but then the passenger side didnt want to lower all of the way down. I kinda lowered it by pushing on it and then I was able to fit the top in the compartment. I pushed the top button and then the Tonneau wouldn't close down. So finally I disengaged the motors the problem now is that the top motor wont re-engaged. I cant popped back in. What gives? Please help.

Any idea as to why the Motor for the Top wont reengage with ease? Of course the teeth are not aligning properly so i'm curious to know what could be done.

The teeth rarely align perfectly. You need to gently twist them (they will twist with ease by using your finger tips) and keep trying it until they line up. It has never taken me more then 2 tries to line them up.

The teeth on the top motor? Because I tried to turn those MF's and they did not want to turn.

has anyone else ever had this problem?
