I didn't want to hijack the dudes thread....I'm getting my new tires tomorrow on the e38's. These are coming off. They are roughly 15 1/2", whatever the metric sizing is. They have 220-55-390 size tires on them. If someone wants them, you can have them ....free. You either p/u here on LI or pay shipping to your house. Last time I shipped tires and rims they were about $20/pc. So for $80 you can have 'em...or they go to the scrapper....Let me know before noon tomorrow..Joe damn file byte limit is only letting this one thru. I'll see if I can resize..

They are actually worth a few bucks for scrap aluminum.

What are you replacing them with? Also, are you planning to bring that brother Cosmos car to SharkFest (http://www.bmwsharkfest.org)?? (I know it is a hike, but people are coming from a more than twenty hours away! :))

I'm going to try the Dunlop Goo9's that I've been reading all these good reviews about. They'll be mounted on the style 5 series e38's in the photo below, 8x16" in 225x50x16. And yes, I'm definately making the run to Sharkfest! I did a lot of work down that way in the previous century but lived further upstate. I'll have to mapquest it but off hand it'll be a good 10hr ride minimum. Just enough to stretch the legs a bit!

Cool! I'm looking forward to seeing the car!

There are a lot of folks you might be able to wagon-train with - check here & Roadfly.

What's Roadfly?

Joe - probably the most active E24 board out there is Roadfly. I'm on all 3 (Roadfly (http://bimmer.roadfly.com/bmw/forums/e24/), this one and BigCoupe (http://bigcoupe.com/phpBB2/index.php))
