After coming real close to purchasing a 2006 M6 I decided it's was to much car for a man my age (69) and the reviews I read on the SMG transmission were not kind, so I'm seriously considering doing engine upgrades on my 2005 645CI with auto transmission and wondered if anyone out there has gone thru this and could advise me whether or not to proceed. The following is a list of the Dinan suggested upgrades for my car. I really like this car but would like to "Spice it up a little" without making the ride any stiffer. My email address is bill@svctrains.com If anyone would like to give an opnion without posting on this forum. Thanks Bill

Id get the car but hold off on the Dinan stuff. As many will tell you theyre way overpriced for what you get. There are other brands out there.

Not to fear my friend...

Dinan is expensive but the options you chose are an excellent choice.

Wanna see a few owners who have actually done it?

We'll I may be nuts, at least my wife says so for a man my age (69) but I've traded for a 2006 M6 Coupe Blk/Blk. Same color etc as the 2005 645 Coupe I'm trading. Picking up the M this week end. I've been agonizing about this for 6 months so I finally just gave in to my urges. Bill
