Is the guard on the hood removable?

Hi,

Yes, the guard is just attached with adhesive tape and some screws on the underside of the hood. There are bumpers on the hood to keep it from hitting the hood, but those are easily removed as well. It's a BMW factory accessory so it can be removed without damage to the original exterior.

I thought about removing it for the photos and sale, but I like it because a) you can easily spot yours in a parking lot or when getting picked up somewhere by the Mrs. and b) keeps the rock chips WAY down.
