Velocity Indoor Karting

12:00 PM (be there around 10 till to sign in, we will be setting off for the first heat at noon!)

We will be doing the lunch special, 2x10minutes for $25

If everyone is there in a timely manner, we can easily do our runs, take small breaks in between sessions and talk smack in 30minutes or so, leaving everyone plenty of time to get back to the office. Do bring a change of clothes and a 'dirty' sweater for when you are karting. You will smell like gas, your hands will get dirty, so wear gloves if this is a problem. They have a bathroom where you can change and clean up.

Helmets and neck braces are required, so bring your own or there are many good rentals available.

We could also chip in and get a pizza so there is food also, speak up if you're interested. There are soda/juice/water bottles available on site.

Ah, I wish I could come... I've always wanted to try that place, but it's really frickin' expensive! :(

The lunch special rates are pretty reasonable, but yes karting can get expensive very quickly. Bring a sack lunch to work instead of going out to eat for a week or two :)

I couldn't find my visor, so will be stuck with a loaner helmet. :(

Hm...I've never used the visor and been fine, although my helmet does have one.

WAS a blast guys. Glad I went, we need to make this a monthly thing, with maybe 2 times a month during the non-racing season.
