View Full Version : New M Coupe/e36M3 custom turbo kit, top quality rare deal.
jonesmechanical 01-31-2008, 12:50 AM 666 manifold tubular t-4, mike radowski 4" downpipe with 4" flex v band, GT40R .85 A/R Turbo, RC engineering 750 cc injectors, tial 44mm wg, tial bov, precision intercooler, vic sias PNP tec3r with integrated plx wideband and 52mm gauge, map sensor. All brand new, cost me over $8500.
I have decided sell all of these beautiful parts, I was originally purchased and collected all of the parts to turbo my own m coupe, but I ended up purchasing a coupe that was already built to my expectations.
I carefully assembled this setup with goals of over 500 rwhp on pump gas on stock compression, stock motor (up to 15 psi of boost). Spooling of this turbo is amazing as I can attest to as I have the same turbo on the car I purchased recently except for the exhaust ar is 1.06, and the manifold is a log, and the motor compression is 8.5:1. All of those variables contribute to a more lag prone power delivery than it would with these new parts. But in reality, I am so happy with how the power delivery is in my new coupe, I have no use for these parts. My setup fully spools to 24 psi by 3900 rpms and actually produces 10 psi by 3200.
The 666 manifold, combined with a smaller a/r of .85 and high compression would make for a setup that would be splitting hairs with gt35r as far as spool, but with a completely different top end. For those seriously interested, I would be happy to give you lots of seat time with my car as it is a very similar setup, and you could inspect the the parts for your self. Of course, the addition of a thicker head gasket would yield obscene power potential. Feel free to contact me through pm. I will post pictures in the next 24 hours. This is a rare deal on top quality parts that are brand new and available for immediate shipment.

M3_MadBimmer 01-31-2008, 11:32 PM i think you would be better off parting out, and it's stuff you wouldnt have trouble seperating and selling.
jonesmechanical 01-31-2008, 11:39 PM Too much trouble. Plus the only way I will be able to part with this is all at once. I really want see someone put this whole thing on their car. BTW I can take paypal or can arrange a credit card payment through my business.
jonesmechanical 02-01-2008, 12:13 AM Just forgot, here is a pic of the Intercooler, and also the BOV is 50mm.
jonesmechanical 02-01-2008, 12:17 AM Intercooler Core dimensions are 24" x 8" x 3.5" with 2.5" diameter inlet and outlet.
quicksylver 02-01-2008, 12:32 AM well, if you change your mind, I'd be interested in the injectors...
PlayerN07 02-01-2008, 01:13 AM Dibs on the manifold and downpipe for shure if you decide to part it out!
thespeedfactory 02-01-2008, 03:28 AM how much for just the wastegate? If you part that is...
jonesmechanical 02-01-2008, 10:25 AM At this point guys I am trying to keep everything together, but I have been asked about separating out the Tec3r/wideband/gauge. For everything but the electronics $4200. For those interested in the Tec3r with plx gauge, 02/map sensor $2600. Feel free to call me at 801-310-8170. Please don't haggle me on the price, these parts are new and are a rare deal at any discount. Thanks, Greg.
quicksylver 02-03-2008, 07:15 PM Turbo and injectors are calling me out maybe even down pipe and manifold....let me know on a combo deal. something good for the poor!
E36bmer 02-04-2008, 12:42 AM PM me a price on the manifold, wastegate pipe and downpipe. If you would be willing to sell seperately.
And possibly the BOV?
jonesmechanical 02-04-2008, 01:02 AM $1900 for downpipe and manifold.
$2600 for tec3r gauge, o2 sensor, map sensor.
$1450 for GT40r DBB turbo.
$500 for Injectors.
$300 tial 44mm wg with v band clamps.
$190 for 50mm tial BOV.
$300 for the intercooler
Package deal $6750 for everything, or $4200 for everything but the tec3r setup.
This is not the build for the poor. There will be significant costs related to competing the kit and making the car balanced. I had budgeted $20,000 for my build including brakes, suspension, clutch, tuning, etc. Buying used would be for those on an ultra budget, but really, my experience has always told me that this is not an area to go used unless you personally know where the parts came from. I believe that this is the cheapest you will find these parts anywhere new, and by a significant margin. If not, give me a link, and I will beat the price by 10%.
mattym3 02-04-2008, 03:41 PM Is this setup still for sale? Im interested in everything but the engine management and sensors.
quicksylver 02-04-2008, 08:01 PM totally understand..the whole poor comment was meant to be sarcastic but I guess you didn't get that. I am fully aware of the costs of doing a build on these cars...I am doing a complete low comp build right now, down to the very last o-ring....I will get with the people tunning my car and will get back to you about the turbo, if everything flies and it will fit on my S50 with the manifold and motor mount that I have, consider it sold.
jonesmechanical 02-04-2008, 09:17 PM Sorry, I don't really know all of you very well. Nothing has sold yet. Please feel free to call me if you like at 801-310-8170 if you have any questions about this setup if you are interested.
