I just use a white cloth and water every so often to get up all the grime. I also scotch-guarded my cloth seats while I was at it.

Fabric Seat Cleaning:
Fabric is the most difficult and time consuming automotive upholstery to detail. Unlike vinyl and leather, fabric upholstery easily soils and stains. You should expect to spend 2 to 3 hours detailing fabric upholstery

Removing old upholstery cleaner will make a great deal of difference to the final outcome of cleaning fabric upholstery; mix 1 cup vinegar per 2.5 gallons of water in the carpet extractor and clean, and then repeat but using warm / hot water only. The vinegar pulls out the old shampoo, cleaning the carpet as well. It may take a time or two, but your carpets will be soft and free from grime. The hot water reactivates the shampoo already in the carpet, providing the needed cleansing action

1.Cleaning-
Use a soft brush to remove any surface dust, the next step is to clean the fabric by spraying 303™ Cleaner & Spot Remover ™ until damp; this product may be used on all water safe materials. The cleaning action increases with warm water, agitation and longer dwell time. Completely wipe away dirt/grime with damp cloth until clean, rinsing out towel in clean warm water as required, allow to completely dry before use.

2. Conditioning and Protecting-
Don't miss this very important step. Once your interior is clean and completely dry you should use a conditioning/protection product (303™ High Tech Fabric Guard, which includes UVR protection or 3M Scotchgard™ Carpet Protector) to ensure protected surface will repel dirt and moisture, and again, keep your vehicle in its like-new condition It is very important to ensure that the fabric upholstery is very thoroughly rinsed, as the cleaners will pull (wick) the dirt to the surface. The soap and oils will attract dirt and oily grime like a magnet (re-soiling) if they are not thoroughly rinsed away giving the appearance that they have not been cleaned.

3. Ultra Violet Protection(Maintenance) -Ultra Violet Protection; more correctly, UV absorbent, is a sacrificial ingredient that needs to be re-applied on a regular 45 to 60 daybasis (dependant upon location climatic conditions) for maximum fade protection, a must for convertibles - - 303™ Aerospace Protectant. Apply lightly with an applicator pad (Adams Super Plush Microfiber Applicator pads) -http://www.adamspolishes.com (http://www.adamspolishes.com)

WooliteŽ has a number of issues that do not lend to long term quality care of interior car parts and components. Using a detergent that is meant to be flush rinsed (i.e. rinsed until it runs clear) in a situation were this is not possible, is not recommended as when it dries it will attract dirt and contribute to re-soiling.

Any detergent soap that is not rinsed away will dry out a surface due to the dried soaps capillary action with moisture; this will be further aggravated if the detergent contains a foaming surfactant as these are generally formulated with sodium. This will adversely affect the polyurethane covering and cause the pigmentation to lose its bond to the leather surface; if the sodium should permeate the leather it will dry it out due to a capillary action.
