Got the hardtop on for the winter. Have rattling in the rear that doesn't happen when the soft top is up. So, I think it's the folded soft top hardware (bows ,etc.) moving around in the storage bin. Anyone know of a solution?

:eyecrazy

(I'm certain it's not anything in the trunk -- spare, etc., are all tied down tight. And it's not shock/strut noise either.)

Speaking of hardtop, any remedies for sqeaks and creaks? I lubed the contact points, but wonder if anything else can be done.

Thanks.

When I just got my hardtop on I also had some rattling, but it's as if it has "settled".

The roof is very heavy. It won't just move around inside the compartment. If you have any more noises and nothing in the trunk, you might have worn RTAB and/or top mounts.

No things inside the spare wheel bucket either?

What is RTAB?

Everything in spare area is locked down tight.

The sound seems to come from the soft top compartment, not the trunk.

Thanks.

I can not figure it out wehn im parked. one of these days i will have to let her drive it and i get back ther to figure out the noise.....................nope don't think that will erer happen, i will have to live with the noise :)
