It just died the other day.... Motor turn over fin, it just will not catch.....

I put in new plugs, all the coils have power, all the injectors have power, relays have all been cleaned and tested.

1st question: Fuel pump fuse Does not have power, should this have power all the time? Doesn't seem to have power any of the time. If shoudl have power all the time, should the pump run constantly?

2nd question: I can provide power to this fuse and the fule pump does run, yet car still will not start. Does this make sence to anyone?

With daughter turning the key, I can hole the throtle about 1/2 way open and spray starting fluid into the throtle body and the engine will fire if I spray it in just right. It will run as long as I keep a fine mist of starting fluid coming in..

Thanks for any help I can get

Should it run constantly?

Pump should have power when ignition is on.

For a couple of seconds when the ignition is turned on and also when it is cranking :)

What controls this?

Ok, after testing the fuel injectors with a noid testor and finding out I have no strobe, I check the voltage on the injector positive wire. 12 volts (+/-) So the noid light not coming on made no sense. After thinking about it for a few minutes I check out the neg. wire and find 12 volts (+/-) as well. Can anyone please help?
