View Full Version : JTD / JT-Designs E36 Front Strut Brace (Discounted)
TCG///M3 01-30-2008, 02:40 AM I have for sale a like-new JTD hingless strut brace (discontinued) for all E36 models (it fits cars with or without traction control). I have only had the strut brace on for a few thousand miles, so it is in great condition and includes 6 JTD strut tower nuts. This strut brace is probably the best quality brace offered for the E36, offering great structural rigidity and strut tower reinforcement. I hate to let this go, but I need to put the money elsewhere. Retail is $549.99 from JTD and even more for namotorwerks, so I would like to get $425 shipped anywhere in the continental U.S. Here is a link to JT-D's website and more details on the brace: http://www.jt-designs.com/ . They only have 4 new braces in stock and have discontinued production. Get one at a great price while you can.
guc32 01-30-2008, 02:53 AM Great bar but can to top open so you can adjust your shocks?
m3j0n 01-30-2008, 03:05 AM IMO, the best fuckign bar in existence. I have a brand new front and rear bar sitting here waiting to go it.. THey are the most fucntional braces (even better than OEM) and look like art in the engine bay. good luck with the sale, 425 is a goddamn steal!
mitchelrl 01-30-2008, 03:25 AM how exactly are they functional?
They look cool, but you can't adjust a damn thing without pulling the bar off.
They look SICK though and they'll definitely get the job done. But anyone that will truly benefit from them would want to be able to adjust them without pulling the bolts off.

Ignorance is bliss eh? The carbon fiber caps come off so you can adjust the shocks:

TCG///M3 01-31-2008, 02:39 AM Thanks for the comments guys. I am somewhat flexible on the price, but this is an awesome deal for a great bar. BSH - when i said better than oem, i meant as far as the materials used and structural rigidity.

Indeed, how so?
TCG///M3 02-07-2008, 02:16 AM Indeed, how so?
As far as the strength of the materials used and the structural rigidity that it offers.
The bar is really neat and functional but why people spend over $500 for a (new) strut tower bar is beyond me.
