well i found this locally on scott air force base.. parents of the kid said the idler pulley went out causing the car to overheat.. they are asking 700 bucks or best offer for it.. heres a few pics

Depends what is wrong.. Sounds like it needs a new cylinder head at the least. May have block damage, but its hard to say.

Im sure the car needs lots of other stuff as well.. Most BMW's do, esp when they don't fix it after overheating..

Thats kinda what I figured! but my buddy and I just ripped apart his supra motor and it was frickin awesome! I'm looking for car I can do this to, but at the same time it sounds like you have it going on, and I can hardly afford the car I have now... good luck!

I don't really have the extra cash right now, nor do I have the free time. I just bought an e34 that hit a deer.. Going to pick it up next Friday and then I'll be putting it back together.

nope.. its an auto.. and the paint is horrible.. after sitting for almost 2 yrs with a full tank of gas.. the car will not start.. we tried for about an hour last night..after taking a closer look at it i seriously think its not worth the money nor the bullshit.. only thing worth anything on the car is the tailights.. decklid, and wheels.. motor is trash.. interior is trash.. moonroof is window sealed shut.. headliners is garbage.. seats are trashed... heres the guys number for anyone who is interested in it..

Thats too bad. Would make a great parts car for someone who was in a wreck though..
