Awesome pics. I go to the Rolex Porsche 250 at Barber every year and I love it. Best 3 days of my year. Do you have the full resolution pics posted anywhere? A few of those Id love to have on my background. :)

thanks for the pics.

still on my bucket list: be @ daytona for the 24hours

side note: on some of your daytime pics, how do you get the background to B&W while keeping the center of the shot color?

Which ones do you want? I don't have any high-res on my site yet, but I'd be happy to host them and send you the URL. Just tell me which shots and what size you want them.

I just use the De-saturation Brush tool in Photoshop. I use a large feathered brush size to keep it smooth. If I really feel like doing it right, I'll select the subject with the Polygonal Lasso, invert the selection, and then de-saturate it. I hope that helps!

First and foremost, I love the photography work. Looks like you have an eye for this hobby and take fantastic photos with some good editing on them too!

Cheers for our #89 Koni GS Porsche! Its the white with orange accent 911 couple pics down from the top. The car finished 13th in the race while the #88 sister car blew the clutch early on.

The lower right hand corner of this picture proves a point: no matter how technically advanced and finely tuned a racecar is, a BFH (Big F'in Hammer) is still a very useful tool!

Any more garage shots? I saw enough of the cars on track during the race.

So did you see that fiasco with the RX8? We were hired to pit them and nobody figured to check if our dry break would fit their car. It didn't! It was like a football trying to f@#K a monkey.

What team were you with?

Yep, that's him. And here he is on Letterman last month:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caYZpzC0Vw0

How's the book? It's on my list of things to get next time I'm near a Barnes & Noble.

Anyway he was at the Rolex with Dave Maher (his co-driver) and Cory Welles (director of the upcoming movie http://www.32hours7minutes.com )... I talked to 'em for a few minutes outside the paddock... very cool, friendly, humble people. That's when I took this pic:

(That's the lovely Ms. Welles waving back at me.)

Good stuff,

I like the book, Cory seems to exude hotness as well...and she will sit in the back seat as you go 180+ for hours on end, what more would you want?
